 Key Stage 4 Science

All pupils follow a GCSE Science course within the school, taught by subject specialist teachers. All pupils are prepared for the Seperate Science Higher tier examination. The curriculum builds upon the work done in Key Stage 3, developing the understanding of the students and extending their practical skills.

Physics is a well established subject, where numbers have grown steadily. The course followed looks at how physics is used in both traditional and up-to-date subject matter. Practical work is still a very important part of this course allowing students to learn through experience.
