What can I do with Sociology?

Sociology students go on to study a variety of subjects at degree level including sociology, but also criminology, medicine, law, geography, social work, social policy and psychology. Courses such as Midwifery specify sociology as a preferred A level subject. Career opportunities are wide including teaching, research, social work, roles in local and national government agencies and charities, public relations, marketing and journalism.
