Key Stage 4


Students have five lessons a fortnight. During GCSE students build on their skills, knowledge of artists and practitioners and have the opportunity to develop personal lines of inquiry through a range of forms, media and processes.

Year 10
Term 1,2&3: ‘Structures’ Skills /recording workshops/visual diaries. Gallery visit gallery. Mini projects- ‘Microbes’ and ‘Buildings’. Foreign study visit.
Term 4&5: Exam project for structures- ‘Surfaces' .
Term 6: Exam. Exhibition review. ‘My environment’ project.

Year 11
Term 1&2: ‘My environment’. Foreign study visit. Final piece -mock exam.
Term 3,4,5 & 6. Externally set task. Exam. Exhibition.
