Spalding High School has consistently been one of the highest performing schools in the East Midlands.

In 2020,

• 99% pass rate A*-E
• 72% of all A level grades were A*- B
• 43% of all A level grades were A*- A

Statistics for Summer 2020

• 74% of students went on to Higher Education
• 80% of students who went on to Higher Education gained a place at their first-choice university

Progression routes other than university:

33 students have a progression route for 2020-2021 as follows (this includes the 3 deferred entry university applicants):

• 8 students have jobs or are seeking jobs
• 10 students have an apprenticeship (including 3 degree apprenticeships)
• 5 students are doing HE courses (4 Foundation Art Diplomas, 1 HND in Performing Arts)
• 10 students are working or volunteering as part of a gap year before applying/re-applying/going to university
