The course studied is OCR Sociology (H580) 

SUBJECT CONTENT

•  Unit 1 - Introducing socialisation, culture and identity.  This will be developed in the context of families and relationships.
• Unit 2 - Researching and understanding social inequalities.

METHOD OF ASSESSMENT

2 examinations taken in summer 2017, each 90 minutes.

TEACHING METHODS

A variety of teaching methods are used.  There are opportunities for class discussion and small group work.  Stimulus material is provided and students are expected to share their ideas.
